SOTERO (TERRY) MAGLAPIT April 22, 1946 March 5, 2010 It's been one year today, Since God let you rest, We speak of you often, And we're doing our very best, To go on living without you, But with thoughts of you in mind, For every decision made now, You're never hard to find. You must be guiding us from heaven, Whenever we need help, Even if it's just to find, That hammer on your shelf. You're still fixing all our broken things, As you did when you were here, We know you're always with us, And it's surprisingly so clear. Our first big trip without you, Was a Hawaiian get-away, You kept your promise when you said, I'll be with you anyway . Our hearts feel just as heavy, As that day one year ago, But when we feel your presence, We'd like for you to know, It makes us smile with comfort, And remember how you used to be, Your golden heart, angelic voice, You're love for us - we see! So thank you Pop for all you've done, And continue to do, We love you so very much, And we will never forget you.
